2. Hall of Fame, April 6th Monday
3.Tin Cup Golf, April 12

Game 1: Stella’s Wish - 9 vs. Desert Sun Embroidery (DSE) - 0
(Excessive Partying on Super Sunday? - Game)

Double ouch! Tough game. There was some defense. The hit counter was 20/13 Stella’s. One extra base for the Stitchers and no one was perfect except Tom Biscan who also doubled and Al Windsor at 2/2. I doubt that this was a fun game for Stella’s although chalking up a a win is what it’s about! For Stella’s the looked at least normal with 4 doublers and 3 perfect batters. Larry Ramirez, Bob Cushman and Tom Turner were solid at 3/3. Doublers were Voeller, Gary Walters, Manager Reed and Connie Stonier. This definitely NOT what was expected as the 2 top teams clashed!

Game 2: Ideal Insurance – 9 vs Encore Floors - 6
(A real softball Game - Game)

Ideal is on a roll. They win again. The hit count didn’t show the real outcome as both teams were 18 a piece. The real story is not ‘How it’s How Many’ and Ideal Insured the would win the day. Scott Peterson after a ‘Pre-game Blowout’ was 3 for 3 as a Sub for Ideal. Ideal sent everyone to the plate 3 times. Dennis ‘Hall of Fame’ Farrar doubled as did Pat ‘The Hurler’ Hogan.. For Encore emery batter made 3 trips to the plate with Phil Souza making a 4th. No extra bases for the floorers. Marcel ‘Moose’ Mantha and Gary McLaughlin were perfect 3/3. Thanks God for a little bit of normalcy! The next game as with the first game was a True Trouncing!

Game 3: Sun Canyon Bank (SCB) – 11 vs Heather R. Johnson team (HRJT)
(There’s Better Days Ahead - Game)

Some times games are unfortunately controlled by walks and he time of walks. This was not the case as the pitching pair, Heather Johnson & Darryl only gave up (1 walk). The hit count was 17/6 the winners. The brightest star for HRJT was Sub Diane Voeller as she banged out a Triple and a HOME-RUN hanging the one-and-only Run on the scoreboard for HRJ. On the SCB, side it was also a Sub, Ernie Timmonds that hammered out a Triple and a Double. Jumping in to help was Charles Powell with a triple all his own.
