Game 1: HR Johnson Team - 6 Desert Sun Embroidery (DSE) - 3

The visiting HRJ Team led off and immediately scored 3 runs. Then it was DSE’s turn, and they plated 3 runs, and that was it for (DES)’s offence. HRJ Team added 2 in the 3rd and 1 in the 4th, and that was the ‘Old Ball Game’. 6/3 with a hit count of 15/9. Scott Peterson doubled and was perfect; 3/3 for HRJ Team
Game 2: Sun Canyon Bank (SCB) – 8 Stella’s Wishes – 7
(Da Big-Dog got bit - Game)
Out of the box, it looked like Stella’s might trample the Bankers. After 2, it was 6-1. Stella’s The 3rd inning showed a resurgence as 3 runs echoed down the canyon. A foreboding of this to come! Stella’s was able to add one more making it 7/4. But the homestretch belonged to Sun Canyon Bank as they tacked on 4 runs that Stella’s never answered, enabling a 6th inning. The 6th produced no runs with 7 batters sent to the plate between the 2 teams.
(SCB)’s Leslie Love’s a round tripper was added to 3 doubles by Steven Carr, Charles Powell and Ernie’left hand’ Timmons. The hit count was once again with the winners19/15. This was certainly a fun game to watch.
Game 3: Larry Ott Realty (LOR) – 7 Ideal Insurance - 4
(Trivia Time at the Ball Diamond - Game)
Ideal was fresh and in for a win as they took the field after a sensible bye game and restful time off. The 1st inning passed scoreless. The second was 2/1 LOR. The LOR began to pummel Ideal with bases hit: 2 triples, and 2 doubles. Sub-Scott Dannen and Manager Bob Schneeberg added triples. Doubles by Ron Groff, Dexter Yard. The Hit count was 16/15, oddly, in favour of Ideal Insurance.
