The Sun Cities Senior Softball Association is responsible for the management of the American League.  The Sun Cities Senior Softball Association attempts to provide parity among players.  The concept is to allow players of somewhat similar skills and athletic ability to be grouped together in leagues and then drafted on teams so that each team should play teams of similar skill levels and athletic ability.  This concept was developed as a safety issue as well as to allow all member softball players to play softball and enjoy the fellowship which is present in team sports.

Generally, the American League was created to allow players with higher skill levels and athletic ability to play a game that is somewhat faster and requires a more power than the National league.

Online SCORESHEETS are designed for managers to simply fill out and give to the scorekeeper at game time.
